Knife Handle Service
Every Yoshihiro handle is built to be fit by hand. If you'd rather leave it to us, our workshop will take care of it.
Fit First
Before anything ships, send photos of your knife and the handle you're considering to info@echefknife.com, and we'll take it from there.
What Qualifies
Our handles are cut for the traditional Yoshihiro Japanese wa tang, so fit comes down to the knife itself. A riveted handle sits on a different tang shape and can't be converted. A tang that's been modified or shortened can't take a new handle either. Every other Japanese knife is reviewed individually, by photo, before anything ships.
How It Works
- Send photos of your knife and the handle you'd like to info@echefknife.com.
- Once we confirm fit, you'll get an invoice for the handle and the service.

Pricing
The service runs $55 to $75, depending on blade, plus return shipping. The handle itself is priced separately.
