Yoshihiro Natural Magnolia Wood Saya Cover Blade Protector for Sujihiki Slicer

Japanese Magnolia wood (Ho-no-ki) is the preferred choice for crafting saya covers for both traditional and Western-style knives. Known for its softness and moisture-resistant properties, this wood is an ideal material for protecting carbon steel blades, as it contains no strong resins that could lead to corrosion. To ensure safety and secure storage, a pin is utilized to hold the blade firmly in place within the sheath.

Made in Japan, each saya cover reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail synonymous with Japanese tradition. For optimal use, we recommend drying the knife before placing it into the saya, ensuring a snug fit and protecting your blade.

This saya cover is designed exclusively for Yoshihiro Knives and may not fit other brand knives. Additionally, it does not fit our Kurouchi Black forged knives.
