Crafted from a single piece of White Steel #2 with a remarkable hardness of 65 on the Rockwell scale, the steel is heated in hearths reaching thousands of degrees, quenched in cool water for optimal hardness, and polished to a brilliant mirror finish, resulting in knives that perfectly blend aesthetics with performance.

The Sakimaru Takobiki is a long slicing knife specifically designed to create paper-thin slices of fish for sashimi. Its round sharp tip is particularly effective for cutting the long tentacles of sashimi.
